Introduction to the Company
BestPump was started in 2000 by John Best after he was made redundant from his job with Axflow Pumps. Using his expertise and contacts he built BestPump into the successful business it is today which now includes the recent addition of Best Metal Fabrication since April 2017.
The business now comprises a core team of staff covering Sales and Marketing, Pump Workshop, Metal Fabrication Workshop and Finance and Administration.
Since 2000, BestPump Ltd has been working closely with hygienic manufacturers in the food, beverage, brewery, distillery, cosmetic & pharmaceutical sectors, providing a wide range of pumps and related sanitary processing solutions across the UK, Europe and around the world. Driven by our customers’ needs, we work with single pump users up to international-scale production departments to engineer, supply and service food grade pumps and pump processing systems.

Metal fabrication
BestPump has been supplying stainless-steel pump and process systems to hygienic manufacturing industries in the UK and abroad since 2000. As demand for our engineered pumping systems increased steadily, we established a long-term plan to extend our range of services to include an in-house stainless-steel fabrication workshop. This was achieved when Best Metal Fabrication was established in April 2017 – Scotland’s leading hygienic stainless-steel pump engineers.
Our aim is to offer clients the very best in customer service coupled with quality. Our proud heritage in hygienic industries and our quality control processes ensure our finished products meet client expectation and project specification.
The services we offer include: Cutting, Bending / Folding, Design, Fabrication, Materials and Welding.
